Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Doctors Bag Charm / Pendant

An unusual and fine charm from the 1960s, designed as a Doctor’s bag and decorated with M.D, from the Latin Medicinae Doctor. The charm is hinged and opens to reveal a rocking baby, which moves from one side of the bag to the other. Stamped with British Hallmarks for London, 1967 and maker’s marks, it’s suspended from a 9ct yellow gold carabiner clasp (11mm), making it very simple to add to an existing bracelet or necklace.
