Victorian Vintage Coral And Pearl Drop Earrings, Circa 1860

A dazzling pair of Victorian coral and pearl drop earrings. Each consists of a round button-shaped coral, suspended in turn by an oval button-shaped coral, measuring 12.5x9mm, placed horizontally and surrounded by eight half-seed pearls. Three more suspended coral drops graduate away from the centre, each topped with a small half-seed pearl and attached to a ear-hook wire with a later Italian hallmark for 18ct gold, circa 1860. A pair of Victorian coral and pearl earrings in good condition for its age with minimal signs of wear. An attractive pair of earrings. These earrings were made in the mid-19th Century. They feature vibrant and alluring coral and luminous seed pearls. The coral is bright, with a wonderful suffused orange colour that beautifully complements the lustre of the pearls and the shine of the yellow gold mount. The coral drops have wonderful movement, and the earrings would add historical charm to a cocktail dress. Length with hook is 7.5cm, weight 12g.
