Retro Sapphire and Diamond Cocktail Ring in Rose Gold

A retro sapphire and diamond cocktail ring in 18 carat rose gold, circa 1940. This ring is designed with a central plaque invisibly set with 12 calibre-cut cornflower blue sapphires, accentuated by six rubover-set, single-cut diamonds. This central plaque is flanked by scrolled trumpeting shoulders, each grain-set with four single-cut diamonds of graduated sizes, leading to a solid rose gold shank.Sapphires approximately 1.2ct in total. Diamonds approximately 0.24ct in total. G/H colour, SI clarity.
