This original ring would truly set the wearer apart from contemporary counterparts. Crafted from platinum and designed as an openwork stylised flowerhead, this sublime ring is set with characterful and lively old European-cut diamonds. The centre stone is estimated to weigh 1.60 carats and there is approximately 1.20 carats in the millegrained surround. An Old European-cut diamond has a round shape featuring 58 large facets, an open culet (the centre of the stone displays a small circle), high crown and small table. Revered for their charm and soft fire, the majority of these stones were cut by hand from 1890 to the 1930s.
