Dartmoor Whisky Ex-Bourbon Cask Single Malt – 70cl

Made from locally-sourced hand turned barley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, this smooth whisky has been aged in a single Bourbon cask before being cut with pure Dartmoor spring water. 70cl, 46% ABV This is what our Master Distiller, Frank McHardy, had to say about our Ex-Bourbon cask expression: “Here the spirit has taken on typical golden colour from the Bourbon cask. On the nose there are vanilla aromas as you would expect from a bourbon cask. There are toffee notes on the pallet, crème brule and marsh mallow. It’s very sweet to the taste, almost honeyed.” This suptuously sweet single malt is matured solely in a single American White Oak Ex-Bourbon cask for a vanilla and toffee filled dram.
