Belle Epoque Crystal, Diamond And Pearl, Choker Necklace

A Belle Epoque crystal, diamond and pearl choker necklace, the rectangular frosted rock crystal panel applied with rose-cut diamond-set gardening design depicting a crossed rake and spade with a potted shrub, flanked with four small pearls, all made in platinum and yellow gold, bearing French control mark circa 1910, to a velvet choker necklace with later white gold fittings. Joanna Hardy says: “A delicate jewel, very pretty. The front diamond-and-pearl panel has a gardening theme €“ with a rake and shovel €“ which is very cool. This choker necklace is in very good condition, with new velvet ribbon, so this jewel looks new but it€™s something with history.”
