19th Century Emerald, Ruby, Diamond And Pearl Ring
A fabulously colourful and characterful ring. This ring features a single band that splits out into three bands: the top with a ruby cluster, the middle with three pearls, and the bottom with a cluster of emeralds. The rubies are a lovely vivid crimson, and the pearls are a bright crème de menthe shade, both complementing the creamy central pearls. All three bands are studded with lively rose-cut diamonds. Similar colourful rings can be seen in portraits by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres in the mid nineteenth century. Joanna Hardy says: I love this ring; it is so youthful and elegant. Set with great, bright, clear stones and nicely made with scalloped back holes. Set with rose-cut diamonds.
